The doctors see their patients by appointment. To book an appointment please call 01322 862121 or call in person during opening times. There are appointments available at each session that can be booked up to two weeks in advance for routine medical treatments. The remaining appointments are released on the preceding day to accommodate more immediate problems.
We now have a mixed clinical team and for this reason the Partners have requested that we ask for some minimal information to ensure you are seen by the right Clinician as soon as possible.
To better cope with patient demand, we now have a specialist nurse who can prescribe who sees our patients who require an ‘on the day’ appointment.
If you require advice or an appointment due to sudden illness and surgery is fully booked you will be offered a face to face appointment with our Specialist Nurse or a triage telephone consultation with a doctor. This means a doctor will phone you during surgery time to discuss and make an appropriate decision about your illness.

BOOK APPOINTMENTS ON YOUR PHONE
Patients for whom we hold a registered mobile number have access to an app called iGP which enables you to book routine prebookable appointments with your GP. Unfortunately, we have had to switch this functionality off until we wait for the upgrade which allow us to ensure our patients are booking in with their own GP and not any GP.
APPOINTMENT REMINDERS ON YOUR PHONE
Patients for whom we hold a registered mobile number will be texted out appointment reminders unless they have opted out. When the text reminder arrives, you have the option to cancel by simply texting back cancel. We also send out targetted health campaigns via text and reminders for vaccinations. Please note, if you have a shared mobile number [i.e. your mobile number is also on other family members records, this means you will receive text reminders for them and sometimes targetted health information meant for them. You may wish to consider having your teenagers providing us with their own mobile phone number to allow us to text them directly.
